For me, food is love. Food can be so many things: nourishment, a void filler, comfort and so much more, but for me food is love. I make food for people that I LOVE. That's the best way I know to show them that I care about them. Birthdays, births, deaths, bad days, great days-- southerners cook for every occasion, and as my accent can attest to, I am definitely southern! I don't make everything from scratch, and I don't always make up my own recipe, but I do put my own twist on just about everything made in the kitchen.
This blog will have photos and recipes of some of the dishes I make for the people I LOVE!
